Today’s episode is a little different, because it’s less of an interview and more of a conversation, per Kimberly’s request. We had a LOT of fun digging into this topic, and hit on some pretty fascinating areas.
Kimberly Paige is a Master’s level therapist and personal development coach. She has received in-depth training in systems like CBT, DBT, and the Enneagram, and holds certifications in both fitness and nutrition. Kimberly’s passion for her work stems from her own continuing process of personal development. She feels a strong pull to share what she has learned with others and help them to create a life infused with meaning and purpose.
I reached out to Kimberly after she posted this quote to Instagram: “Good girls don’t grow into good women. They grow into resentful women.”
There’s a lot to unpack there, including how women and girls are socialized from a young age, with a very different set of expectations that the ones given to males. This can often lead to people pleasing and other issues that can manifest in various ways, including resentment, stress and anxiety.
Kimberly also re-frames self care as taking a break from being overly responsible, which I found to be incredibly refreshing.

This episode was particularly fun, and Kimberly has so much to share! Can’t wait for you to tune in 😉
