I have a moment of minor (or major, depending on how vulnerable it is) panic every.single.time I press publish on a piece of content, ESPECIALLY when it’s for the podcast because it feels so much more personal to me than any other medium because people can hear and feel the emotion in my voice on a whole different level than the written word.
I’ll often question myself:
Do people really want to hear this?
Why would anyone want to listen to me?
I have nothing good to say.
Here’s the truth of the matter: that voice will always show up. We all have it in us, no matter how much experience we have under our belts. It doesn’t matter how practiced you are – it will still come. Instead, it’s all about what you do with it and how you learn to manage it.
In today’s quickie episode, we’re covering some of the ways to shut that voice down and do the damn thing anyway. Because not only are other people counting on you….YOU are counting on you. And holding yourself back doesn’t help anyone.
